A practical, feminine path to building your herbal business in Sweden.

I’m creating this program for women* who dream to work professionally with herbs, as herbalist, herb grower or product maker. It grows from my own journey at Nordiska Örter, learning entrepreneurship from scratch, finding my way through laws and regulations, making mistakes, fixing late declarations, paying unnecessary fees, falling into scams, and slowly building clarity and confidence.

I went from growing herbs in my small home garden to running a professional herbal market garden. I learned how to work with plants from seed to package, how to dry them with care, how to transform them into potent extracts, and how to create blends that truly work, all in a country that wasn’t mine, in a language I didn’t know.

This program is here so you don’t have to walk that complicated path alone. I want you to start strong, avoid the confusion, find your vision, and surround yourself with the right partners. I hope to offer personal follow-up so you feel supported while building your business.

*The program is also open for men who feel the same way. I’ve tried the classic entrepreneurial path, strict marketing plans, pressure, money-centred way of working. It never felt right to me. I realised I couldn’t function like that for long, and that I succeeded much more when I trusted my gut, my intuition, my timing, and my own rhythm which is what I call a "softer or feminine way". 

In this program, we’ll explore the practical parts, the things nobody explains when you start:

  • understanding the regulations around food, herbs, wellness, and simple cosmetic products
  • navigating registrations, permits, and all the administrative steps
  • learning how to sell plants, knowledge, or creations in a legal and confident way
  • building a website, logo, flyers, branding

And we’ll also dive into entrepreneurship:

  • building a business that reflects who you are
  • finding your voice and your message and communicating with honesty
  • creating simple systems so you stay efficient without burning out
  • setting short and long term goals on calendar
  • understanding your customers and the path you want to walk
  • staying close to your values of herbalism, and nature

And of course, we’ll dive into the heart of the work: herbs and herbalism

  • growing herbs in a Nordic climate
  • wild foraging with respect and knowledge
  • processing plants: drying, storing, and working with fresh material
  • creating herbal remedies and extracts with intention and good techniques
  • learning the laws around selling fresh or transformed herbal products
  • understanding rules for product descriptions, claims, and what you can and cannot say

And remember: building a business is a journey. Clarity comes step by step about who you are, what you want to offer, and how you want to make the world a little better. The most important thing is to start small, but start now.
