About Agnès

Agnès Brosset (Dr.) is the founder of Nordiska Örter, Sweden’s first herb market garden dedicated to the cultivation of medicinal plants. With a PhD in plant ecology and years of hands-on experience growing herbs, she combines scientific knowledge with deep respect for traditional herbalism. Agnès grows, forages, and processes all her herbs by hand to preserve their potency, aroma, and color — offering Sweden a high-quality, local alternative to imported herbs. Through her work she inspires others to live more naturally and locally, reconnecting with the wisdom of plants and the rhythms of the land.

"I created Nordiska Örter to live close to the land, and offer something simple but rare: local, potent herbs full of life. They are medicine, yes — but they’re also food, joy, and a way of remembering our place in nature.

I love most the rhythm of the seasons, the magic joy of harvesting in the wild, the smell and taste of herbs. By working with my hands and sharing what I know, I invite others into a more grounded, seasonal way of living."
